Warm Up at Warder

It is that time again!  
Come warm up with us during the annual Holiday in the City Springfield event!  

Our doors will be open from 4:00-7:00pm.
We will have hot chocolate, coffee, cookies, a kids carnival and Mrs. Clause!
Our Used Bookstore, Christmas Shop and Cookie Walk will also be open!  

We can't wait to see you!!!

I Love Warder Campaign

During the month of February we will have an event every Friday. 

All of the proceeds will go towards raising funds for renovations and improvements to our beloved building.  

We are asking for monetary donations in the amount you wish or used books.  

Friday, Feb. 3rd: Board Game Night 6-8 pm
Friday, Feb. 10th: Tutor Fondue Past and Present Tutors 6-8 pm
                                  (RSVP at 323-8617)
Friday, Feb. 17th: Wine and Cheese Trivia Night 6-8 pm
Friday, Feb. 24th: Children's Winter Carnival-Dj-Karaoke 6-8 pm

Come join us for an evening of good company, wine sipping, and art learning!  In addition to the paint class you will have an opportunity to buy clothes from the popular LuLaRoe line as well as jewelry from Premier Designs.  

For an added bonus, ALL of the proceeds go towards local business in the Clark County area: the Warder Literacy Center and Sip and Dipity.  Local consultants host the LuLaRoe and Premier Designs lines.

Literacy Fun Fest and Ghost Run!

The Count Down is on!! Only THREE more days until our first annual 5K Event!!

Come join us this Sunday at our Literacy Fun Fest and Ghost Run event starting at noon down at Snyder Park. 

Activities from 12:00-1:30 will includes 1K Fun Run, MegaScrabble, Monster Boggle, Mini-Super Bee, MasterWordQuest, and Team Challenge. These events are family friendly and all participants will be rewarded!  Tickets cost $1.oo for two or twelve for $5.oo. 

At two o'clock our 5K Ghost Run will begin.  We will have sign up tables prior to the event and contestants will receive a t-shirt.  Registration for the race is $25.00.  And of course, there will be awards!!

Annual Rummage Sale!

Our rummage sale will be held this Saturday from 9:00 to 1:00.  

You will be able to find a variety of things including (but not limited to) holiday and seasonal items, clothing for men, women, and children, material, vases, we will even have plants and other household items.  

In addition, our Christmas shop will be open as will our bookstore.

For those avid readers you will be able to purchase a bag for $5.00 and walk away with as many books as you can shove in there!
