Adult Basic and Literacy Education (ABLE)
Open to any adult in Clark County age 18 and up (ages 16-17 with official school release and work permit) who is reading below a sixth grade level
Student meets with personal tutor twice a week for 60-90 minutes each session
Computer assisted learning
M-Th: 11:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. (Special arrangements may be available)
English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESL)
Open to speakers of other languages who wish to learn English

Classes taught in English

Teaching Children to Read (TCR)
Open to school-age children reading below grade level
Student meets with personal tutor twice a week for 60 minutes each session
Uses the Stevenson Method
Parent or guardian must be on site during tutoring
M-Th: 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
G.E.D Instruction and Class
Basic skills tutoring in preparation for G.E.D classes through Clark County Literacy Coalition members
Student meets with personal tutor twice a week for 60-90 minutes each session
Computer assisted learning
M-Th: 11:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Group Class offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10: 00 am to 1:00 pm.
PICK-PACK (Parents Increasing Children's Knowledge)
Available for children enrolled at the Warder Literacy Center
Backpacks filled with books and activities for their families
One-week check-out of backpack for the children's home library
Families keep the contents of the backpack for the children's home library
Backpacks are returned to be refilled for another family to enjoy!
